Left Auckland mid-day Sunday 4 November and headed south on State Highway 1 .. over the Bombay Hills and turned left onto State highway 2 and headed towards Thames ...past sheep, cows, farms etc .. turned left at Thames and headed up the Coromandel Peninsula to the town of Coromandel and looked for a place to park the mobile hotel and find some food .. you cant live on bread and Nutella for ever !!
